Du Néolithique récent à l’âge du Bronze dans le Centre Nord de la France : les étapes de l’évolution chrono-culturelle

Die seit 2001 im Rahmen eines PCR (Programme Collectif Régional) durchgeführte Gemeinschaftsarbeit über das Ende des Neolithikums und den Beginns der Bronzezeit im Zentrum Nordfrankreichs führt heute zu einer neuen Periodisierung der Zeit zwischen 3600 und 1800 v. Chr. in acht Etappen. Obwohl, insbesondere bezüglich der Transition zwischen dem Mittel-und dem Jungneolithikum einerseits und dem Jung-und dem Endneolithikum andererseits, auch weiterhin einige Lücken bestehen, erlaubt dieser präzisere Rahmen die Hauptetappen im Zentrum Nordfrankreichs mit denen der benachbarten Regionen zu synchronisieren, um eine dynamischere Vision der kulturellen Phänomene vorzuschlagen.

The collective research project "Cultural components of the first pottery productions of the Early Bronze Age in Southeast France" derives from renewal of documentation on the Early Bronze Age in the southeast Rhodanian region and new approaches to the Bell Beaker period, particularly in the southern part of Southeast France. The collective work carried out since 2001 within the framework of a Programme Collectif de Recherche (PCR) on the Late Neolithic and the beginning of the Bronze Age in the central part of northern France leads today to a new periodisation in 8 stages for the period between 3600 and 1800 BC. Although several gaps remain, particularly for the transitions between the Middle Neolithic and the Late Neolithic on one hand and between the Late Neolithic and the Final Neolithic on the other hand, this more precise chronological frame allows to synchronize the main stages of the central part of northern France with those of the nearby regions, to propose a more dynamic vision of cultural phenomena.

Le site de Mondragon - Les Juilléras (Vaucluse) a livré des vestiges témoignant de sa fréquentation depuis le Néolithique ancien, jusqu'au premier siècle de notre ère. In 2010, in doubtful circumstances, a bronze axe blade was fortuitously discovered in the forest of Étaules. The artefact has been studied as detailed as possible in order to suggest its former cultural context, thus allowing to give a brief review of the Early Bronze Age in Burgundy. This flanged axe, close to the Neyruz type, can be attributed to the mid-Early Bronze Age. In an excellent state of preservation, it was carefully prepared after having been cast in a split mould; although worn by use, it remains fully functional. The first discoveries concerning the Early Bronze Age in the region of Genlis (Burgundy, Côte d’Or) were madeduring the construction of the A39 motorway, the first major development project to be associated with archaeological monitoring. Excavations made by H. Dartevelle in the early 1990’s revealed two large areas of settlements with two ellipsoidal houses, smaller buildings and satellite structures (Dartevelle 1992). The site of Genlis-Izier, “Le Joannot” remained the only local reference for early Bronze Age habitats until the early 2010’s, when the construction of the L.G.V. Bestattungsensemblesin Truchtersheim „Holderacker“, etwa 12 km nordwestlich von Straßburg, hat uns bewegt uns mit der gesamten für das Elsassverfügbaren Dokumentation der frühbronzezeitlichen Bestattungssitten zu befassen.
